| Arriving in two batches,
No.'s 1-5 in May 1947 and No.'s 6-10 in March 1948,
these vehicles were purchased to replace the TS2, TS3
and TS4 vehicles of 1929 vintage.
The distinctive Crossley windows were later altered
to include rubber surrounds.
No. 7 (BCB 340) is now preserved. Though it's registration
number was kept and is now on Dennis
Trident No. 1, having also been allocated previously
to Blackburn Coachline vehicle Plaxton/Volvo
B10M No. 300
No. 8 (BCB 341) is also preseved and is currently (July
2006) part of the North
West Museum of Road Transport collection
