| The East Lancs bodied Leyland
Atlantean PDR1 vehicles were the first rear engined
front entrance buses in Blackburn and entered service
in July 1968.
A second similar batch No.'s 73 - 80 followed in 1971.
Most of these vehicles received the Blackburn Borough
Transport livery after 1974, and all of the 45-54 batch
were re-numbered in the 1977 re-numbering programme.
