Vehicle Type: LEYLAND PD2A
Fleet No.'s: 21-44

Vehicles in this gallery have an individual page for each bus.

These 63-seat East Lancs bodied Leyland PD2A/24's were the last rear entrance vehicles purchased by the Corporation, and arrived in two batches 21-32 in 1962/3 and No.'s 33-44 in 1964.

The second batch were the first to be fitted with fluorescent lighting.

These vehicles went through several livery variations, receiving both the predominant cream livery in the early 1970's and the red green & white of Blackburn Borough Transport.

Three of these vehicles are now in preservation.
