To complete the MCW Metrorider replacement programme, eight further 29-seat Optare Metrorider midibuses were ordered.

No.'s 637-644 were delivered in 1997 and 1998.

They were virtually identical to the ten MR15 vehicles delivered in 1995 and 1996 - see OPTARE Metrorider MR15 page for details
