| These vehicles first entered
service with Lothian Transport (Edinburgh) between 1984
and 1986, and arrived at Blackburn between 2001 and
2002 (though No. 31 had arrived in 2000 for evaluation
purposes)
The high seating capacity of these long wheel based
variant of the Olympain chassis made them ideally suited
to School services and for the 'rush hours' of Track
1.
Two further vehicles, No.'s 57 and 58, were aquired
in June 2003 and July 2004 respectively, No. 58 being
the first vehicle painted in the new Schools+ livery
(see Liveries
Page) entering service on 1st September 2004.
