Vehicle Type: GUY ARAB 6LW
Fleet No.'s: 158-169

Vehicles in this gallery have an individual page for each bus.

The first 8ft wide vehicles arrived in 1961 in the form of ten Guy Arab 6LW's with East Lancs 63-seat bodies.

They were affectionately known as 'joburgs' (as in Johannasburg, South Africa), though the depot staff referred to them as 'Big Guys'.

No.168 eventually became a Driver Training vehicle in 1976 and the rest were withdrawn shortly afterwards.
