| A return to Guy Arab chassis
was made for the first batch of 1947 vehicles, along
with, for the only time, a purchase of Northern Coach
Builders bodies.
These vehicles had a comparatively short life in Blackburn,
all having been withdrawn by 1962, with the exception
of No.'s 76 and 79, which were converted to Towing Vehicle
and Tower Wagon respectively.
No.74 (ACB 902) is currently preserved and is at the
Halifax Joint Committee depot.
Blackburn No. 76 is also in preservation. You can read
