The first vehicles purchased by the newly formed Blackburn
Borough Transport Limited company were second-hand Bristol
RESL6L with 47-seat ECW bodies.
These vehicles were obtained from Ribble, being exchanged
for Atlanteans No.'s 93-97.
They entered service in Blackburn in September 1987,
receiving the standard two-tone green livery.
