LEYLAND 'G' Type No.'s 23-30
LEYLAND Lion No.'s 31 and 32

On the acquisition of the routes of the Blackburn Bus Company in 1931, ten single-deck vehicles were transfered to the Corporation.

The eight Leyland 'G' Type were re-numbered 23-30, and where then used in part exchange against new vehicles from Leyland Motors in 1932, and then immediatley re-sold to Dixon & Wallance of Glasgow

The two Leyland Lions were numbered 31 and 32, but then re-numbered 23 & 24 in 1932. These vehicles remained in service until 1939 when they were both converted to Water Carrier Vehicles for use by the Auxiliary Fire Service
